James is an Independent Member on the LOC for the 2020 World Deaf Golf Championships, to be held at the Forest of Arden Golf Club in Warwickshire.
James is working closely with the Event Director Stuart Harrison, UK Deaf Sport and England Deaf Golf to assist with the planning of the event, commercial and sponsorship strategy and overall event operations for the tournament which will take place 7-15th August 2020.

James was Event Director and responsible for the operational delivery of the Tour de France Grand Départ (stages one and two in Yorkshire) and stage three (Cambridge to London) in July 2014, with an overall attendance of 3.5m people on the roadside and 3.5bn people watching worldwide on TV.
The event was the largest in the UK following London 2012, and succeeded in showcasing the UK and Yorkshire as hosts of major international sporting events.
James oversaw the Operational delivery and event management of the Revolution Track Cycling Series from 2015-2017 during his time as Managing Director of FACE Partnership.
The series was the Premier League of Track Cycling, and over this time grew from small events in Manchester through to sellout crowd in new Velodromes in Glasgow and London and televised live on both ITV4 and Eurosport.
High-speed televised racing under street lights in the heart of the London with a capacity crowd of 20,000 spectators. This is Cycling's answer to F1.
James was at the heart of the planning of the Nocturne, both during the latter years of the race at Smithfield Market and in it's newer home on Cheapside. The event was an afternoon and evening festival of cycling, with support racing including Penny Farthings, Folding Bikes and Amateur Racing. As the night drew in, the fun gave way to the pro's, with elite men and women racing on live television on the city streets.
Operationally, this event involved road closures, safety and security planning and a high-level of logistical planning to install, operate and derig all within a 24 hour period. This is what we do.
James worked closely with WMP Creative in 2018 in developing strategy and bids for various Professional Sporting events.
The setup and delivery of the first ever World Cycling Revival Festival, that took place at the historic Herne Hill Velodrome, Dulwich, London in June 2018. The ambition was to create cycling’s largest ever hospitality event, akin to Goodwood Revival Festival, Royal Ascot or Wimbledon.
Creation and management of all business operational needs including event production timelines and schedules, legal agreements and frameworks, insurance and licensing.
Stakeholder liaison and management with various local authority contacts and local charity stakeholders.
